Description
The WebiSmarts system is designed to provide facilities with a better way to monitor and track effluent releases. This is done through the unique coincidence stack monitor which provides both beta and gamma readings to allow better identification of isotopic release. The monitor also provides a more accurate release level with coincidence function to eliminate gamma background as a potential release. In addition, the WebiSmarts system includes radiation area monitoring of Gamma and Neutron for a large variety of detectors. This data can be viewed on a facility map or a grid view with multiple graphs of the data being viewed simultaneously.
WebiSmarts is a web-based software package which receives online radiation data from DPU-3 Area Monitors which are strategically installed throughout the cyclotron lab. Users can access maps showing radiation levels on color-coded points therefore presenting a detailed yet concise radiological map.
